With just over 10 minutes until the start of Event #12: $130 Monster Friday $40k GTD, the room is already buzzing with excitement as this tournament is expected to see tons of action.
This structure mimics that of the usual Friday tournament but instead of a $15k GTD it has been jacked up to $40k and is sure to draw a ton of entries. There were 29 registered at the time of this post but that number is climbing rapidly as players pour into the room.
For each $130 buy-in players will be given a 25,000 starting stack and will play 20-minute levels. Registration will be open for 3 hours and 50 minutes and will close at approximately 9:50 p.m. During the registration break, players will also have the opportunity to purchase an add-on for $100 to receive 50,000 in chips.
