Normand Plays a Fun One with Doan

Derek Norman opened to 8,000 and was called by Benjamin Harris on the button and Daniel Doan in the big blind.

On the flop [6h7h6d], Doan looked like he was about to bet but changed his mind and checked to Normand, who continued for 11,500. Harris quickly got out of the way and ten Doan check-raised to 37,000. Normand scratched his beard for just a second before he placed out calling chips and the two went to the turn [3s].

Doan then decided to check, and Normand was not scared to get check-raised again as he bet 12,500. Doan just called and the dealer put out the river [3d], double-pairing the board.

Doan checked once more to Normand, who stacked up all of his chips into a tower and slid them into the middle, which resulted in a quick fold from Doan.

"Well that was a fun one," Normand said as he raked in the pot, "Good fold bro."

Doan - 41,000

Normand - 160,000
