On a heads-up flop of [7d10h5c], Gregory Bassett moved all in for his last 21,000 and was quickly called by Graciel Maldonado to put him at risk.
Gregory Bassett: [Qd5d]
Graciel Maldonado: [Kd10d]
"Ah he's got me," Bassett admitted when he saw what he was up against, but the turn [Qh] changed the tide to give Bassett the lead with two pair.
This was short-lived, however, as the [Kh] fell on the river to give Maldonado an even bigger two-pair as the table erupted.
"Wow, gonna have to call you a nutria, you river rat," Bassett laughed as he exited the tournament in stride.
Gregory Bassett: 0
Graciel Maldonado: 200,000
